Happy National Bus Safety Week! We're reminding everyone about the most important rule when the yellow bus is near: ⚠️STOP ON RED!⚠️
If you see a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, you must stop. It's the law in all 50 states, and it protects children as they enter and exit the bus. Let's make every stop a safe stop!

A message from the Nursing Department

We are pleased to inform you that our school will conduct a vision screening for students on October 8, 2025, at Grand Coteau Elementary for Pre-K, K, 1st, and 3rd grades. Regular vision screenings are essential for identifying potential vision problems that may affect learning and development.

Important Reminder: If your child wears glasses, please ensure they bring them to school on the day of the screening. This will help us get the most accurate results.

If you do not wish to have your child screened, please contact your school registered nurse to complete the Opt-Out Form prior to the scheduled date.

Please contact the school office if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter!
