Reminders: We will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week next week. Remember to call Mrs. Kisha to adopt a teacher! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Our SOLA giving day fundraiser is coming to an end. There is still time to donate if you haven't yet. The last day is Thursday, May 5, 2022. We are so super proud of all of our students during this difficult testing time. Third through fifth graders have really been working hard on their LEAP test. They are definitely taking their tests seriously! Our younger babies are doing a great job of being extremely quiet and respectful as not to disturb our testers!

Announcement: Because of state testing next week, Teacher Appreciation Week has been moved to the week of May 9-13. Although the school has some extra special activities and treats for all of our faculty and staff, we would love to get our students and families involved in this great week. As a special treat, we will have Adopt a Teacher! Simply call the office beginning on Wednesday of next week and let Mrs. Kisha know who you would like to adopt. She will let you know what things are your teacher's favorite such as favorite drink, snack, chips, etc. Let's all help our staff members feel appreciated!

Good evening, As you are aware, 3/4/5 grades will be testing for the next 8 days. We have received several phone calls inquiring on whether or not lower elementary students need to report to school during these days. The answer is "yes!" Although lower elementary students are using the cafeteria for their classroom in the mornings, they do return to their regular classrooms after lunch to continue with their work. I hope that this clears up so confusion.

LEAP testing for 4th and 5th grades starts tomorrow and 3rd grade on Wednesday. We will be testing for a portion of the day until Friday, May 6, 2022. It is imperative that your students in these grade levels arrive at school on time and remain at school the entire day. Students who are present each day of testing will receive Bronco Bucks at the end of the testing period. Students who try their best will receive a "treat" at the end of each day. Let's work together to make your child's testing experience a positive and successful one! We have been busy at school preparing your child for testing. Here is what you can do to help us: 1. If your child does not eat breakfast at school, make sure they have a healthy breakfast at home. 2. Ensure your child gets a good night sleep. 3. Encourage them each morning to do their best. Your child's test scores determine our school letter grade. We are the highest performing elementary school in the district and we want to keep it that way! Thank you for all that you do. Here's to Happy Testing ahead!
